Hi

i've just had this problem on 2000 server. it was importing itself to the WSUS server but failing just as yours has.

try the following, it seems to have worked for me.

re register the following file (regsvr32.exe c:\winnt\system32\.......)

wuweb.dll

wups2.dll

wups.dll

wucltui.dll

wuaueng1.dll

wuaueng.dll

wuapi.dll

run clientdiag again & it should succeed

cheers
