Push Install WSUS Client

It would be a nice goal to push installations to clients for activating the WSUS-Client the right way.

a) Install WSUS-Services
b) Choose Synch-Method and synch updates
c) Approve/Decline updates
d) Detect computers in the network
e) Pushinstall necessary software to the clients (IE6,WinInstaller 3.1, BITS-Update, WSUS-Client)
f) Regedit the clients to connect to the WSUS-Server after the reboot.

You could run the command wuauclt /detectnow from a client to connect the WSUS and get the updates.

The ability to push patches from WSUS would make this product totally complete in my opinion.  Currently, without being able to have complete control pushing to servers during an hour in maintenance window, WSUS isn’t a mature patching solution.  SMS just for patching... it’s too heavy and cumbersome.  I hope more folks ask for this feature!
