Troubleshooting WUS Office Update |
WUS is capable of distributing updates to Office. This page looks at issues surrounding updaing Office via SUS.
Common Issues with Office
Q. Office Updates are approved , but are not getting installed.
A. Office updates can be installed only via Windows Installer version 3.0. This is downloadable from the WUS server. You need to approve this update for installation before approving Office Updates.

Hi there,
I don't see MS06-047 and MS06-048 available in WSUS for approval. Can someone verify the neccessary syncronaztion settings for those patches to show up?
I have Office 2002/XP and Office 2003 selected in the Products Options and I have Critical Updates, Security Updates, Service Packs, and Updates selected in the Classifications Options.
