Visitor Welcome

All Wiki content is work-in-progress. This is a collaborative forum where people can share ideas and record any consensus reached on difficult issues, along with rebuttal. It changes as people come and go, as experience develops, and as opinions change. If you are looking for authoritative or stable information, you may need to look elsewhere.

The general tone here is casual and respectful. Unlike chat rooms, newsgroups, or private e-mail, Wiki content is expected to have some seriousness and permanence. Authors are encouraged to write thoughtfully and to think about how their writings fit in with the rest of the existing wiki content. That doesn't mean we don't allow fun and frivolity here, it just means that we try not to waste one another's time by writing without thinking.

Please do any testing or experimentation on the Play Page. Creating new pages that do not have important content is annoying and impolite. It is also impolite to change existing pages if you do not improve them in some way (adding questions qualifies as improvement). On the other hand, it's best when you do change existing pages and improve them in some way.
