This may not be the best way to run WUS, but my setup is fairly small.

I have all the updates automatically approved for installation - after all, to be honest Microsoft have not issued that many bad patches.  The only major one I can remember was Service Pack 6 for Windows NT 4.0.

All my clients (~30) talk to the server at 1:00pm every weekday, with reboot remiders set at every 10 minutes.! (nasty I'm sure)

This requires very little intervention from me to administor the server - which is always a good thing.!

As I said, this is most likely not the best way for most people, but for as little administration as possible it works.
